Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Destinyi currently handles account data, reading inputs, preview caching, saved reports, analytics, and support requests. It is written to match the product as implemented today.

1. Information We Collect

The exact information collected depends on which part of the product you use.

Account information. Destinyi currently uses email verification code login. That means the platform collects your email address, verification code records, and account timestamps such as account creation and last login.
BaZi reading inputs. The current BaZi flow collects your name, gender, birth year, birth month, birth day, birth time if known, your question, language setting, and whether birth time is unknown.
Saved report data. When a full reading is unlocked or generated while logged in, Destinyi stores the reading inputs needed for that report, the reading result, timestamps, and favorite status so it can appear in My Reports.
Usage, device, and log data. The site uses Google Analytics, and the backend may receive technical request information such as IP address and request headers. During login code delivery, client IP is also used to select email language.
Order and payment data. If you use current VIP purchase flows, Destinyi stores order details, package information, PayPal order identifiers, payment status, and related timestamps.

2. How We Use Information

Destinyi uses the information above to operate the current product flow.

  • Generate BaZi previews and full reports based on the question and birth data you submit.
  • Authenticate users through email verification codes and maintain signed-in access.
  • Save unlocked or signed-in reports to My Reports so you can revisit, favorite, or delete them later.
  • Operate VIP order flows, payment confirmation, and account access controls where applicable.
  • Measure product usage, diagnose issues, and improve support and site performance.

3. Preview, Login, and Saved Report Logic

The current Destinyi product has a preview-first flow.

Anonymous BaZi previews are cached temporarily for about 30 minutes so they can be unlocked after login without regenerating the full reading. Once a logged-in user unlocks that preview, the reading is saved to their account and appears in My Reports. Signed-in full readings are also saved directly to the account.

4. Data Sharing and Disclosure

Destinyi does not claim to sell personal information. The current implementation does rely on several service providers to operate the platform.

  • AI generation providers: BaZi readings are generated through the AI provider configured by Destinyi, which may include services such as Qwen or DeepSeek.
  • Email and SMTP services: login verification codes are sent through configured email infrastructure.
  • IP geolocation lookup: the login email flow currently uses an IP geolocation request to determine which language version of the verification email to send.
  • Analytics: Google Analytics is used for traffic and product event measurement.
  • Payments: current VIP order flows use PayPal for order creation and payment capture.
  • Legal or safety disclosures: Destinyi may disclose information when required by law or when reasonably necessary to protect users, rights, or platform security.

5. Data Retention and Deletion

Retention depends on whether the data is temporary preview data or a saved account record.

Anonymous preview cache entries are temporary and currently expire after a short cache window.

Saved reading records remain in your account until you delete them from My Reports or request assistance from support.

Destinyi does not currently expose a self-serve account deletion or data export flow in the product UI. For broader deletion or account data requests, contact [email protected].

6. Cookies, Local Storage, and Analytics

The current site uses browser-side storage and analytics tools.

Destinyi stores authentication tokens in local storage for signed-in access.

Language preference is persisted through local storage and a locale cookie.

Google Analytics is used to record page views and product events.

If you block cookies or local storage, parts of login, language persistence, or product analytics may not behave normally.

7. Your Rights and Contact Path

The current product gives you limited self-serve controls and a support path for everything else.

You can currently delete saved report records from My Reports inside the product.

You can contact support to ask about account access, broader deletion, or privacy-related questions.

8. Minors

Destinyi is not intended for children. If you believe a minor has submitted personal information through the service, contact support so the request can be reviewed.

9. Disclaimer and External Links

BaZi readings and related content are interpretive tools for reflection. They are not professional medical, legal, financial, or psychological advice. The site may also link to external pages that operate under their own policies and practices.
